2012 Bavaria Cruiser 40S – luxury performance yacht

Dancing Star, is a luxury 2012 Bavaria Cruiser 40S, designed and built with extra performance and comfort in mind. She is available for cruising the beautiful waterways of Pittwater, Broken Bay, the lower Hawkesbury and Cowan Creek. She is also available for Sydney Harbour based events such as New Years Eve and Australia Day celebrations.

Dancing Star is a sports version of the popular Bavaria 40 Cruiser with taller mast and longer boom – which combined with the deeper 2.3 metre keel and Farr designed performance hull delivers stable, safe and fast performance.

Dancing Star is a top performer in club racing and regattas ( she has won Division 1 Non Spinnaker at the Sydney Harbour Regatta three years in a row – 2015, 2016, 2017. She is also a delightful cruiser, with furling short overlap headsail and a fully battened racer/cruiser main which drops easily into the large boombag – making her quite manageable by a reasonably experienced couple.

Full instrumentation and GPS systems are provided for both navigation and performance monitoring.

To maximise living space, she is configured with 3 queen cabins and two bathrooms. She sleeps up to 6 overnight, and maximum 12 by day.

Superb quality timber work is a standout below decks, offering a classy and luxury feel.

A straight line galley is located to port with significant refrigeration, extensive kitchen equipment, quality oven/stove and large bench space. Both bathrooms have large sized shower facilities with significant hot water supply.

The large skylight style hatches and nearly 2 metres of headroom in the saloon provide good light and a feeling of space to those below. A superb audio visual system incorporates DVD, CD, Digital TV and ipod connectivity with LED TV screen.

The twin wheel cockpit is large and wide with good vision forward and the large dodger provides significant protection in all conditions. Sun protection is provided over the twin wheel helm with a large Bimini (cover) – with an extra sun cover which can be installed once moored. A high quality gas BBQ is located aft for ease of use.

The full width drop down rear platform is ideal for easy boarding, as a swim platform and for extra entertaining space.
